College of the North Atlantic is the largest post-secondary educational and skills training centre in Atlantic Canada. The College is a leader in providing diplomas and certificates in over 100 full-time programs including Academic, General and Transfer Studies, University Transfer, English as a Second Language, Applied Arts, Business, Industrial Education/Trades, Information Technology, Health Sciences, Natural Resources, and Engineering Technology. These programs vary from one year to three years in duration.
College of the North Atlantic understands the financial challenges that face international students so we work hard to keep our fees and costs as low as possible while maintaining a high quality education. Our rates are among the best in Canada; standard tuition for international students is CAD $3,300 per semester. An academic year consists of two 15 week semesters with some programs requiring an additional intersession of 6 weeks at a cost of CAD $1,650.

A Diploma or Post-Diploma from College of the North Atlantic opens many doors for graduates. Statistics show that 80% of our graduates get jobs in their field of study within 3 months of earning their Diploma. In most instances, they earn more than their counterparts with university undergraduate degrees. In addition College of the North Atlantic offers many transfer agreements with universities throughout Canada and abroad. A student graduating from a Diploma in Engineering Technology may transfer to one of our partner institutions and obtain a Bachelor of Technology Degree in as little as one year.

College of the North Atlantic works closely with industry to ensure that all its courses are up-to-date and that it is providing its students with the skills that employers are looking for. Program advisory boards comprising industry representatives monitor our programs and advise us about adjustments to keep pace with business and industry advances. In addition students graduating from programs at College of the North Atlantic have had the opportunity to work in the industry even before graduating. Students have the option of entering co-op programs that are on the cutting edge of technological advancement. With alternating in-class and on-the-job paid work-terms students receive a combination of knowledge and practical skills that bring immediate results. Students from these programs graduate with not only a diploma but a year of work experience to include on their resume!
