Adventure Tourism is the fastest growing sector of the tourism industry. This two-year program is based in spectacular Western Newfoundland and will provide students with a solid foundation in natural sciences, social history, and outdoor leadership skills and techniques. College of the North Atlantic’s Adventure Tourism program has access to two UNESCO World Heritage Sites in addition to numerous National Historic Sites as well as spectacular wildlife and ocean environments. Graduates of this program can expect to find employment in the ever growing adventure tourism industry as cruise ship interpreters, bus tour guides, hard adventure tour guides and many more. This industry is growing at a rate of 30% annually creating an increased demand for skilled professionals in Adventure Tourism.
