The Faculty of Arts and Science is the largest faculty at The University of Lethbridge, housing disciplines within the Humanities, Sciences, and Social Sciences. It is the foundation and provides the building blocks for all University of Lethbridge degree programs.

Rooted in a philosophy of Liberal Education, we are committed to providing you with a broad range of knowledge in addition to the basic tools and skills required for a variety of professions. In addition, through the completion of a university degree, you will develop a sense of critical thinking and understanding that will help you to maneuver through all aspects of your life.

Through our Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts and Science, and pre-Professional Transfer programs, you can access more than fifty areas of study. The classroom isn't the only learning option available; you can also participate in our Co-operative Education and Intership programs. These will integrate your academic and career studies with relevant and productive work experience in industry, business, or government.
