Located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, St. George’s High School is a co-educational day school with approximately 330 students from Grades 7-11. The school prides itself on upholding an educational philosophy based on its founding principles established in 1930. These principles include the belief that learning should come from doing (hands on), that education should be adapted to the individual needs of the student, that education should allow for creative expression and that social-mindedness (community service, global awareness) should be developed.

At the heart of the St. George’s International Student Achievement Program is our unique Home-Stay Network. Families from the St. George’s community host our international students and provide a complete immersion experience in a safe, warm and supervised home environment. Our International students experience all the positive aspects of family life in Montreal. The Home-Stay Network certainly facilitates English language acquisition and fosters a sense of well-being and belonging.

St. George’s School of Montreal is an accredited school and follows the program of study prescribed by the Ministry of Education for the Province of Quebec. The Ministry has designated St. George’s as a “lead school” in educational reforms. St George’s School encourages enriched learning in the areas of mathematics and science and introduces students to the visual and performing arts, including drama, art and music. Advanced Placement courses (Princeton) are also available to those students who wish additional enrichment opportunities. Technology is an important tool and is integrated throughout the curriculum.
