College of the North Atlantic offers Post Graduate Diplomas in International Business Management, Journalism and Safety Engineering Technology. These programs are designed for individuals who have already obtained a degree, diploma or an acceptable combination of related work experience and post-secondary education. All post graduate diplomas are comprised of two academic semesters followed by a semester of work experience. International Business Management is designed for students interested in acquiring entry-level skills to work with businesses involved in International Trade. Graduates will be prepared to effectively assist the business community in its quest to compete internationally and expand markets. Growth in international trade has lead to the demand for employees who are highly skilled and knowledgeable in international business. The program will contain eight courses from the Forum for International Trade Training (FITT), which will provide an opportunity for graduates to apply for the Certified International Trade Professional (C.I.T.P.) designation.
