IT programs are developed in partnership with industry through Advisory Committees and specific program industry focus groups. Each program is reviewed on an ongoing basis by industry, faculty and program development facilitators to ensure that the curriculum meets industry standards and expectations. Canadian Information Processing Society (CIPS) is the professional association providing leadership in information systems and technologies in Canada. CIPS has accredited five (5) Information Technology programs at College of the North Atlantic. CIPS provides leadership in information systems and technologies by developing and promoting quality standards and practices, research, certification, and professional development while safeguarding the public interest
