Lexis specializes in high-quality summer English-as-a-Second Language (ESL) courses for international students.

Location: We are located at York University's beautiful Glendon College in Toronto, Canada. Our classrooms, dormitory, cafeteria, computer room, student lounge, and sports facilities are all located on campus, within a minute's walk from one another. The campus has lots of green open space, trees, beautiful gardens and sitting areas. Located where Lawrence Avenue meets Bayview Avenue, it is very close to the Yonge St. subway and only a 20 minute drive to the heart of downtown Toronto.

Ages: Lexis offers specialized programs for students of all ages: children, teenagers and adults.

Levels and Class Size: Students are divided into three ability levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Each class contains only 12 - 15 students, allowing our expert teachers to provide individual attention to each student.

Length of Programs: Lexis provides 2-week, 3-week, 4-week and 6-week programs. In 2006, our classes begin July 3 and end August 11.

Accommodation: Lexis provides both dormitory and homestay options.

The City is Our Classroom: At Lexis, we believe it is important to bring the language to life. Each afternoon, after a morning of more formal instruction, we make the city our classroom. Students practice the English they've learned in class by visiting Toronto's many exciting attractions with new friends from other countries. By listening to English, and speaking it while seeing the city, students quickly become more confident in their ability to use English.
