This eighteen-month course is meant for students who do not have a formal education or who do not have Canadian work experience. The IDAIT offers students the chance to gain valuable on-the job experience with Canadian IT companies. The curriculum for the 18-month IDAIT is the same as the 10-month DAIT diploma program; however, each semester is separated by a 4-month co-op work placement. Co-op placements are jointly the responsibility of the student and the co-op placement staff at CCBC.

This course is the core of our curriculum at CCBC and is designed for students who have a strong academic background and the ability to assimilate and retain complex subject matter. The ideal candidate is a college or university graduate wishing to acquire hands-on, professional IT skills. Students spend 7 months in full-time classes and lab exercises at CCBC, followed by a 3-month specialization project. The first semester is the same as the 4-month DPCAS course. In the second semester, the student will have a choice of selecting one of the following seven diploma programs: E-Commerce / B2B Diploma Program Application Developer Diploma Program Database Developer Diploma Program Network Administrator Diploma Program Digital Web Design Diploma Program Digital Graphic Design Diploma Program Interactive Multimedia Diploma Program
