Choose a study pathway

Start with the qualification and skills you want to gain. Compare the subject, teaching language, delivery format and location before choosing an institution.

University, college, vocational, secondary and language programs serve different goals. A familiar school name does not establish whether a particular campus or program fits your project.

  1. Write down your goal
  2. Compare at least three programs
  3. Check the institution’s own admission pages

Canadians place a premium on education and demand first-rate schools. Canada spends more per capita on its education than any other country in the G-7.
Depending on your country of origin and the type and length of your study, you may require: a visa and student authorization or none of the above.
Costs of Study at a School in Canada  The Cost of Studying in Canada
Studying in Canada is not free, but it is affordable. The average cost for a foreign student for one school year (8 months) in an Arts& Science program is C$7100 (US$4765).
The Canadian education system encompasses both publicly-funded and private schools, from kindergarten through to university. Education institutions are not officially ranked in Canada, as all Canadian institutions offer high quality programs.
