For many the subject of Health Science conjures images of doctors, nurses and hospitals; however, Health Science encompasses a wide variety of healthcare subjects. Students can study to be x-ray technologists, physiotherapists, exercise instructors, holistic and alternative healers, pharmacists or public health practitioners. Graduates work in every facet of healthcare, from preventative medicine to encouraging healthy living practices to helping to diagnose and treat illness, to assisting with a patient’s recovery.
