Choose a study pathway
Start with the qualification and skills you want to gain. Compare the subject, teaching language, delivery format and location before choosing an institution.
University, college, vocational, secondary and language programs serve different goals. A familiar school name does not establish whether a particular campus or program fits your project.
- Write down your goal
- Compare at least three programs
- Check the institution’s own admission pages

THE MICHENER INSTITUTE for APPLIED HEALTH SCIENCES
“ Best Experience, Best Education ”
The Michener Institute is a centre of excellence for the advancement of applied health science education. Funded by Ontario’s Ministry of Health and Long Term Care, Michener has educated health care professionals from Canada and around the world for more than 45 years. Michener is located at the heart of the vibrant city of Toronto, Canada, one of North America’s largest and most prestigious medical communities.
We are committed to providing the highest standard of education and giving you the best learning experience possible. All Michener program curricula are regularly reviewed for relevance and currency. Each program is guided by a Program Advisory Council made up of working professionals. As a student in one of our programs, you will work with state-of-the-art technology in our classrooms and laboratories. With Michener’s focus on hands-on learning, class sizes remain small and you will have the opportunity to interact with faculty on a one-to-one basis.
Michener students gain a world-class education and graduate with the skills and confidence to successfully enter their profession. Health professionals are in high demand in many countries around the world, including Canada. 100% of graduates are employed within one year of graduation. Global shortages of qualified health professionals mean that Michener graduates enjoy mobility and can take their skills with them around the globe.
We invite you to consider applying for one of the following diploma or advanced diploma programs, all of which are accredited by the Canadian Medical Association:
· Medical Laboratory Science Diploma Program
· Respiratory Therapy Diploma Program
· Ultrasound Advanced Diploma Program
· Cardiovascular Perfusion Advanced Diploma Program
