Prince Albert: 15th 'Opening Doors' career fair spotlights 80+ exhibitors and postsecondary programs
The 15th 'Opening Doors to Tomorrow' fair at the Art Hauser brought together over 80 exhibitors, including Saskatchewan Polytechnic and the Recording Arts Institute of Saskatoon (RAIS). Attendees explored programs (3D animation, filmmaking, audio engineering, game design) and hands‑on career demonstrations such as paramedic training.
The annual fair provided a local gateway to postsecondary pathways and regional employers. Partners included Saskatchewan Polytechnic, RAIS and local health services that showcased equipment and hands‑on demos (CPR, stretcher operation). RAIS highlighted its programs in 3D animation, film, audio engineering and video game design, noting these options are available closer to home than larger centres. The free event connected prospective students with training and employment opportunities in the area.
