量子化學 薛丁格方程，諧振子問題之解，氫原子，角動量理論，變分法及其在原子與分子系統之應用，分子軌域理論與簡單群論。經典量子實驗包括楊氏雙縫實驗、光電效應及DNA結構解析。講課每週3小時；實驗每週2小時；討論每週1小時。先修科目：CHEM 2P12 。附註：此課程可能以多種授課方式開課。授課方式將於學期學術時間表列明。

Quantum Chemistry Schrodinger equation, solution of the harmonic oscillator problem, hydrogen atom, angular momentum theory, variational method with applications to atomic and molecular systems, molecular orbital theory and simple group theory. Classical quantum experiments include Young’s double slit experiment, photoelectric effect, and DNA structure elucidation. Lectures, 3 hours per week; lab, 2 hours per week; tutorial, 1 hour per week. Prerequisite(s): CHEM 2P12 . Note: this course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery.
